Thoughts-Praises-Memories-Regrets- Who I am? Who I was meant to be! This is for my Daughters, Sons and Grandchildren - I would want them to learn of the things in my life that were most important to me. I am prayerful that they will know of my passions. I wish to share some of the music of all types that touch me, that tugs at my deepest emotions and express longings of intimacy and love. When words fail me music opens windows to the expressive soul.

Gary Sinise - Tribute to Navy Veteran
Academy Award Nominee Gary Sinise Makes a Moving Spoken Word Performance, honoring one of our brave servicemen from WWII.
VET of the Year Award -
Many people may have forgotten about his time in the U.S. Army. He is the son of an Air Force General, and a accomplished Golden Gloves boxer, and he graduated from Pomona College with a B.S. degree, and then became a Rhodes Scholar from Oxford University.
He joined the U.S. Army at the prompting of his father. After graduating from Officer Candidate School he attended and graduated from both Army Airborne and Ranger training in the very top of each class. He was selected for U. S. Army Special Forces Training but refused so that he could attend pilot training where he earned his wings, and became an accomplished U.S. Army helicopter (gun ship) pilot, and achieved the rank of Captain.
He was about to be promoted to the rank of Major, and appointed to teach at West Point when he resigned his commission from the Army to go into music and acting. You can tell in this video that his time in the military means a lot to him. I won't give away who it is. You should just watch. I bet you will be surprised!

TRUETT LOLLIS TRIO w/ Cody Matlock
Darwins's Blues
Darwin's music venue in Marietta is now open again after a recent remodeling of the place, including an added kitchen to serve good hot food during the day as well as night. However, when I arrived about 10pm on Friday the place was packed and the band itself was doing the cooking. Showcased here is one of the most exciting young performers in the entire Atlanta metro area with his band, Truett Lollis, serving it up the way Darwin's and it's customers likes it-fresh and hot!
